What can I say? Again, full steam ahead. Looking forward. Working, writing, performing. The cogs of this machine never cease. Who would want it any other way?
The summer has been one to remember. My metal cohorts Luc, Stefen, and Mark journeyed down to Worcester, Mass, to see IRON MAIDEN a couple of weeks back, and we found ourselves at the very front. Hell yeah. I'll say only this: the greatest rock show you'll encounter. Unbelievable.
The following week, Stefen, and my lovely lady Krista went down to New York to see them AGAIN at Madison square garden. We stayed with my cousin Nate in Brooklyn, ate some glorious food, saw the sites, and went to the rock show once again. This was Nate's first Maiden show, and he was in all his glory. I was thrilled to see him so happy. Krista, who I thought would not enjoy it so much, had the time of her life, and can't wait to see them next time around. You know I'll be there.
COME TO MY SUNDAY SHOWCASE AT THE COMEDY CONNECTION…EVERY SUNDAY NIGHT AT 8:30!
There are a slew of new comics doing wonderful things, and I encourage you to check them and myself out. The shows are fantastic!
I'll also be performing at the Providence performing arts center August 22 with Colin Quinn, Dane Cook, and Frank Santorelli. This is a benefit for the victims of the Station fire last winter. The show is going to be taped for Comedy Central and HBO!!! Check it out!
As an aside, my dear cousin Kriston perished in auto accident August 11. Kriston was only 42, and left behind his 16 year old son, and someone I also care deeply for, Andrew. Words cannot express how sad I am, as I've lost one of my favorite relatives. So few are born with the good nature Kriston had, and I can only feel lucky that I saw enough of him to know that. He was one of my first role models, and as a young boy, I admired him. Always, always, do right by others, be the best role model you can be, because you never know when your time is up. He is in a better place, which is tough to beat, because when I was around him, I didn't think it could get any better. Thank you for taking the time for me Kriston, you'll always be missed.
Thank you to everyone always be good to each other!
