Bunch of news. Business stuff first, OK?

SHANE KINNEY'S COMEDY SHOWCASE ON THURSDAYS!!!! UPDATES!!!!!!!!!!!!

God-the past 2 years have been SO SLOW for updates. I'm just keeping it all to myself!

Come see me on Thursdays at the Comedy Connection. Things have been hopping there lately. Gotta love the stage!

Business as usual. I'm still hustling around-jumping on stages, doing comedy-I love it so much. There is no better feeling than being on stage bringing the funny. I was just recently fortunate enough to perform at the Providence Performing arts center for the second year in a row performing for nearly 3000 people to benefit the Station Family Fund. It was a huge thrill and honor to do that again, and the crowd was magic! Other featured performers were Dane Cook, Craig Gass and The Reverend Bob Levy from the Howard Stern show, and good friends Stephanie Peters and Rich Aronovitch. What a blast.

I also played a part in a movie. Comedian and filmmaker friend Quinn Collins penned an excellent script for a movie called “Boogie Board Beach.” I played a reporter-and I can't wait to see the results. It should be out soon.

He also wrote an excellent soundtrack that I had the honor of playing drums on. I was handed the demos 4 days before the session for 12 songs, and went in to Foreside studios and worked with friends Joe Brien and Andrew Morgan, and busted them out in a day. Man was that a busy day! The results are outstanding-I'll post mp3's, soon. Promise.

I'm also in a band again!

I've got a new project happening-man does it sound GREAT. I'm going to keep it a bit of a secret for now-but you will be hearing from us VERY SOON. It's awesome.

Due to friend John DeChristopher at Zildjian-I am now back again a Zildjian artist!

I have just taken delivery of a brand spanking new set of Zildjians that I am thrilled to be playing again. Thanks to everybody at Team Z for the hookup!

I also bought a house-that's right! I'm growing up! It's a duplex in Windham, ME, just a few miles outside of Portland, and I'm a landlord. Can you believe that? Me either. It's great.

Email me at shanekinneycomic@yahoo.com to find out when I'm performing near you!

See you out there!

-Shane
